Download and install Firefox, from
Open the link below,
install Video Download Helper…


The icon above shows up in your toolbar at the top of the screen in Firefox, click on it when you have a video you are watching on the internet, it’ll give you options to save…

Video DownloadHelper detects videos playing in your browser and provides simple browser toolbar/menu user interface to download the video directly to your local disk.

This add-on can also bulk download gallery of images.

Rebuild LaunchServices Database

Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder. Copy & paste:

/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -r -domain local -domain system -domain user

Return and let the process run to completion, it will put you back out at the prompt.
